Pierre Schwarzenbach

Since his early youth, Pierre Schwarzenbach‘s life has been characterized by creativity – whether he is painting, cooking or playing music. He always addresses the fresh challenges he meets in search of new horizons. While attending high school he acquired his basic painting skills at the studio of the Zurich painter Klaus Däniker and later at the “Fachochschule Krefeld“, Germany. It was here that he deepened his knowledge in several artistic techniques including designing textile fabrics.

Participated in the exhibition in the line of Malevitch, curated by Arina Kowner, in the „Cultural Atelier“, Arina Kowner Foundation, Zurich. His paintings, representing contemporary Swiss art inspired by Malevitch, were shown among selected works of Sol LeWitt, Robert Mangold, Jannis Kounellis, Igor Makarevich and Robert Ryman. |

1998 - 2000 | Deepening his skills in sculptural art and experiencing new art technics in his studio in Mougins, South of France. First sales to art collectors. |
1994 - 1998 | Working as Executive Art Director at the Hèrmes Group, Paris and at Silk Company Abraham Ltd., Zurich. His design creations were adopted by Yves Saint Laurent, Nina Ricci, Givenchy, Escada and Ralph Lauren for haute couture collections. |
